Commercial HVAC and Electrical Contractor in Coral Springs
Coral Springs was a planned city, and the commercial side was planned too. Most of the industrial and flex space is grouped in the Commerce Park of Coral Springs off the Sawgrass Expressway near Sample Rd. Retail lines University Dr, Sample Rd, Atlantic Blvd and Wiles Rd. Medical clusters around the hospital. That organization makes the city easy to work in, and it means we see the same building types over and over, which helps us diagnose faster.
We do commercial HVAC, chillers and cooling towers, electrical, generators and transfer switches, and fire alarm. Florida HVAC license CAC1825204 and electrical license EC13006438, which also covers fire alarm. Our shop is in Sunrise, a straight shot up the Sawgrass Expressway.
The Commerce Park and the rest of the city
The Commerce Park is the industrial heart of Coral Springs, about 440 acres zoned for industrial, commercial and research uses. The city's own description lists fintech, logistics, engineering and aerospace companies, and newer warehouse and distribution buildings are going up there. These buildings run a wide range: conditioned office space, data rooms, labs, light manufacturing and big open warehouse bays. Each one has different cooling and electrical needs, and a lot of them have backup power because downtime costs real money.
Broward Health Coral Springs and the medical offices nearby make up the healthcare side. Physician practices, imaging, physical therapy and outpatient surgery. These are long hour buildings with humidity concerns and fire alarm systems that see regular inspection.
The retail corridors are classic South Florida strip centers and freestanding pads. Restaurants with heavy kitchen exhaust, gyms with high cooling load, banks, and service businesses.

Flex buildings need two kinds of thinking
A lot of Commerce Park buildings have office space up front and warehouse space in back. The office side needs comfortable, dry air. The warehouse side might need ventilation, spot cooling, or a fully conditioned zone for product that cannot take the heat. Owners often add those conditioned zones years after the building was designed. That changes the electrical load, the fire alarm layout and sometimes the sprinkler coverage. We look at the whole picture before recommending equipment, and we can handle the HVAC, electrical and fire alarm pieces together.
Code, wind and power
Coral Springs is in Broward County, inside the High Velocity Hurricane Zone under the Florida Building Code. Rooftop units, condensers and exhaust fans have to be anchored for very high wind loads. We permit and inspect every replacement and fix inadequate supports when we find them.
Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30. If your business in the Commerce Park relies on servers, refrigeration or production equipment, a generator is cheap insurance compared with a multi day outage. Once you have one, keep it tested. NFPA 110 calls for monthly exercise under load and an annual load bank test for diesel units that do not run heavily enough during the monthly test. A generator that only gets started for five minutes now and then is not ready.
Fire alarm in Coral Springs
Warehouses with high piled storage, multi tenant flex buildings, medical offices and retail centers all carry fire alarm systems tested under NFPA 72 through the Florida Fire Prevention Code. Most devices are tested every year. We do the inspection, repair what fails, and keep the documentation clean for the fire marshal.
