Commercial HVAC Repair and AC Installation in South Florida

When the air goes down in a hotel tower or a warehouse full of product, nobody wants to hear about next week. Pacman HVAC Electric Fire has worked on commercial buildings in South Florida since 1999. Our HVAC service team repairs, replaces and installs air conditioning for facilities across Broward, Palm Beach and Miami Dade.

What we do

Most HVAC calls start the same way. Something stopped cooling, or a unit is running and the space keeps getting warmer. We find the cause, tell you what it will take to fix it, and then fix it. That includes rooftop units, split systems and the control wiring that ties the equipment together. If your building runs on a BMS, we work on that side too.

When repair stops making sense, we quote replacement. We install new commercial AC systems in occupied buildings and in tenant improvement spaces, including the refrigerant piping, electrical connections and controls. Because Pacman is also a licensed electrical contractor, we do not have to wait on another trade to pull a new circuit or swap a disconnect. Our own electricians handle it on the same schedule.

If your building runs on chilled water, our chiller and cooling tower team covers that equipment as well.

Who we serve

Our work is commercial, and that is where our techs spend their days. We take care of hotels and resorts, casinos, hospitals and assisted living facilities, warehouses, and office and retail buildings. We also work with general contractors on tenant improvement projects, where the HVAC has to be installed, started and signed off before the tenant can open.

Property managers and facility directors call us for the same reason: they want one company that picks up the phone, knows the building and gives them a straight answer.

Areas we serve

Our shop is at 751 Shotgun Rd in Sunrise, so Broward County is home. Our techs cover Sunrise, Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, Weston, Coral Springs and Pompano Beach. We go north into Boca Raton and the rest of Palm Beach County, and south to Miami and Miami Dade County. We work in Florida only.

Why Pacman

We have been doing this since 1999 and we are licensed, bonded and insured. Our HVAC work is done under Florida license CAC1825204, with David Saldarriaga, our GM of HVAC Service, as the qualifier. Our electrical work is done under EC13006438.

Having HVAC and electrical under one roof matters more than it sounds. A lot of AC problems turn out to be power problems, and a lot of new installs stall waiting on an electrician. With us, the same company owns the whole job. You also get people who show up when they say they will, explain what they found in plain English and keep the job site clean.

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle emergency commercial AC repair?

Call us at 954.577.7923 and tell us what is going on. Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. We will be honest about when we can get a tech to you and what it will take to get the space cooling again.

Should I repair or replace my rooftop unit?

It depends on the age of the unit, the refrigerant it uses, its overall condition and what the repair costs compared with a new unit. When it is close, we give you both numbers and our honest opinion, and you make the call.

Do you install HVAC for tenant improvement projects?

Yes. We work with general contractors on tenant improvements in occupied and new buildings. We can handle the mechanical and electrical scope together, which keeps the schedule tighter and cuts down on finger pointing between trades.

Are you licensed for commercial HVAC work in Florida?

Yes. Our HVAC license is CAC1825204 and our electrical contractor license is EC13006438. We have been working in South Florida since 1999.
