Commercial Fire Alarm Installation and Inspection in South Florida

A fire alarm system has one job, and it has to do it the first time. Pacman HVAC Electric Fire installs, upgrades and inspects fire alarm systems for commercial buildings across Broward, Palm Beach and Miami Dade. Fire is part of our name because it is part of what we do.

What we do

We install fire alarm systems in new buildings and tenant improvement spaces, and we upgrade and expand systems in existing buildings. When a space gets renovated or a tenant moves in, the fire alarm usually has to change with it, and we handle that work.

We also inspect fire alarm systems. Building owners in Florida have to keep their systems tested and inspected, and the fire marshal will ask for proof. We check the system, document what we find and tell you plainly what needs attention.

On design build projects, fire alarm is part of our full scope offering alongside electrical and mechanical. We can carry the fire alarm from design and permit drawings through installation, so you are not chasing a separate contractor to close out the job.

Who we serve

We work in commercial buildings: hotels and resorts, casinos, hospitals and assisted living facilities, warehouses, and office and retail buildings. We also work with general contractors on tenant improvement projects, where fire alarm work often decides whether the space passes inspection on time.

Facility managers and property owners call us when they need an inspection, a device added or a system brought up to date.

Areas we serve

Our office is at 751 Shotgun Rd in Sunrise. We handle fire alarm work in Sunrise, Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, Weston, Coral Springs and Pompano Beach, north to Boca Raton and Palm Beach County, and south to Miami and Miami Dade County. We work in Florida only.

Why Pacman

We have been a licensed Florida contractor since 1999. Our fire alarm work is done under our electrical contractor license, EC13006438, and we are licensed, bonded and insured. We also hold HVAC license CAC1825204, which helps on projects where the fire alarm has to tie into air handlers and other mechanical equipment.

Because we do electrical, HVAC and fire alarm, one company can coordinate the trades that usually step on each other at the end of a job. We keep you informed, we keep the site clean and we finish on the schedule we agreed to.

Frequently asked questions

How often does a fire alarm system need to be inspected?

Most commercial fire alarm systems need testing and inspection at least once a year, and some parts of the system need it more often. The exact schedule depends on your building and the code your local fire marshal enforces. We can help you sort out what applies to you.

Do you install fire alarms for tenant improvements?

Yes. We work with general contractors on tenant improvement projects and handle the fire alarm scope along with the electrical, so the trades stay coordinated through final inspection.

Can you add devices to my existing fire alarm system?

In many cases, yes. We look at your current panel and system first to see what it can support, then tell you whether adding devices or upgrading the system makes more sense.

Are you licensed to do fire alarm work in Florida?

Yes. Pacman is a licensed Florida electrical contractor under EC13006438, and our fire alarm work is done under that license.
